I've got a secret to share—I've been right where you are. I've gone through the motions, buying all the swaddles and sleep gadgets, devouring blogs and following the advice of baby sleep gurus. I was that tired parent watching Schitt's Creek at odd hours, desperately seeking a

glimmer of hope while I was cry laughing! And you know what? I hit rock bottom too. My baby wouldn't sleep, and I felt like the biggest failure. But then, I stumbled upon a solution that led me here. I found a sleep shaping routine and within three days of sticking to it like glue, my two-month-old baby girl started snoozing through the night. I kid you not, I woke up one morning at 6 a.m. in a panic, thinking something was wrong. Lo and behold, there she was, sound asleep in the pack and play. Now, that's what I call a miracle! When my son came along two years later, I wasted no time getting him on a sleep routine and working on healthy sleep habits, and he's been getting a solid 12 hours since he hit the 12-week mark.

I'm a certified pediatric sleep consultant through the Center for Pediatric Sleep Management. I've got the knowledge and experience to back up my customized sleep plans. I have a secret…I was you.

I was tired of being tired! I was a walking zombie who couldn’t wait for the sun to come up because that meant it was time to be awake. I was no longer sitting in the dark, alone, in my newborn’s room in the rocking chair feeling completely overwhelmed and anxious. Every night when the sun would start to go down, I would literally start panicking because I knew I wasn’t going to get any sleep and I wouldn’t be in my own bed. I needed to do something about it - not just for me, but for my mental health. I didn’t know what I was going to do once I started back to work full-time. I was panicked about being up all night and then having to be a functioning human being at the office. I just knew that this was not a sustainable lifestyle.

With the help of Google and influencers on Instagram (HA!), I found out what sleep shaping was and how it was completely life changing. Girl, let me tell you, IT IS LIFE CHANGING! My daughter was around 2 months old when I started really working with her on sleep. The very first night, she slept until 6 a.m. - I was shocked! It was like her, and I were different people.

  • I was starting to feel like myself again.

  • I felt like I was able to connect with her so much more now that we were well rested.

  • She wasn’t as fussy and was actually a happy baby!

  • We were thriving on our newfound schedule and routine making our days easier to plan around naps.
